 Aventura Mall’s 2012 holiday season officially kicks off November 16 with the unveiling of its holiday displays. Requiring more than 5,000 man-hours to set-up, Aventura Mall’s awe-inspiring holiday décor is incredibly elaborate and spreads the magic of the holidays to all who visit.
Highlighting the experience is the captivating “Santa’s Magical Village,” located at the Fountain Court, which encompasses Santa’s House, and a 52-foot tree adorned with holiday characters from top to bottom that comes to life in a live music and light show every 30 minutes. Families also love to visit the “Aventura Model Train Station,” Located in the JCPenny Court. At 16 by 29 feet, it’s South Florida’s largest indoor train display, featuring five electric trains that whistle and smoke their way through a 360-degree experience of an enchanted winter landscape filled with city towns, country fairs, mountains and, of course, Aventura Mall.
