Breitling, Original Penguin and Lola Among Retailers Opening This Fall

AVENTURA, Fla. – (September 28, 2011) – Aventura Mall, South Florida’s leading shopping destination, continues to enhance its already exceptional mix of stores with an array of exciting new fashion retailers. This fall, Breitling, Lola and Original Penguin will celebrate openings. Recent store debuts include Louis Vuitton, Omega and Montblanc.

Breitling, the luxury brand known for producing fashionable and functional “Instruments for Professionals,” will debut its second U.S. store, and first in Florida, at Aventura Mall this fall. As the developer and manufacturer of technically-oriented watches, Breitling was originally known for its specialization in chronographs and precision counters used for scientific and industrial purposes. The brand stands out with a collection of mechanical chronographs powered by their own Caliber 01 in-house movement and a complete line of “Breitling for Bentley” timepieces. Since 1884, Breitling continues to stand for precision, sturdiness and performance. Breitling plans to open in November, and will be on the upper level near Center Court.

Original Penguin will feature its collection of relaxed, sophisticated apparel in a new Aventura Mall store. The increasing demand to find the original Munsingerwear golf shirt, known today as “the 55,” and other vintage pieces from its collection, led to the rebirth of the brand in 2003. Today, the Original Penguin Clothing Company reflects the updated American lifestyle without compromising the heritage or craftsmanship that has made Penguin's name. Penguin will be near Bloomingdale’s on the upper level, and is planned to open in November.

Lola is the latest concept from conglomerate BCBG Max Azria Group, and its first store in Florida. The boutique offers a personalized shopping experience within a space designed to resemble a hip, city girl’s apartment. Lola at Aventura Mall will consist of a living room, bedroom and closet showcasing affordable runway-inspired accessories and apparel. Lola is planned to open in November, and will be located on the upper level near JCPenney.
