Celebrity Stylist Danny Santiago Headlines the Night as Dozens of Fashion Retailers Offer Special Events & Promotions

AVENTURA, Fla. – (August 15, 2011)– Aventura Mall will honor fashion and the art of shopping during its second annual Fashion’s Night Out (FNO) celebration on Thursday, September 8. The festivities will be highlighted by Decades of Passion for Fashion, a runway show and exhibit from celebrity stylist Danny Santiago.
Santiago’s runway show willbegin in Aventura Mall’s Center Court at 7 p.m.featuring styles from the past that influence the hottest fashions of today. And, throughout the day, the shopping center’s Fountain Court (adjacent to the Apple store) will be transformed into an exhibit showcasing authentic vintage fashions from past decades.
Exciting in-store events and promotions will also be taking place from 6:30 to 9:30 p.m. that evening.Aventura Mall retailers participating in Fashion’s Night Out include, but are not limited to, Bloomingdale’s, Macy’s, Anthropologie, Charles David, AX Armani Exchange, BCBGMAXAZRIA, Cole Haan, Guess, Herve Leger by Max Azria, J.Crew, Michael Kors, ZINGARA, Ted Baker London and Tommy Hilfiger.
In addition, Aventura Mall will be giving away exclusive FNO shopping totes to the first 150 shoppers that show same day receipts (Sept. 8) for purchases of $150 or more at the MasterCard Concierge Center. This one-of-a-kind tote displaysan illustration by Melanie Figueroa Nieves,fashion design student at the Ai Miami International University of Art& Design and winner of the 2011 Fashion’s Night Out Fashion Illustration Competition hosted by Aventura Mall.

Celebrity stylist Danny Santiago is a Miami native and has collaborated on the costumes for “Sex and the City,” “Sex and the City 2” and “Confessions of a Shopaholic.” His designs are also featured in the 5th season of “BurnNotice.” As one of today’s most sought after stylists and image makers, Santiago has made contributions to Italian and Russian Vogue, Interview, Harper’s Bazaar, Elle, Magazine 10 and Citizen K.
