AVENTURA, Fla. - (October 14, 2009) - Aventura Mall, South Florida’s largest super regional shopping center, has named Crystal Rouhani as Tourism Director. In this position, she will spearhead the mall’s tourism outreach and initiatives, including the center’s First Class Shopping Savings Program. Most recently, Rouhani served as Director of Marketing for Destin Commons, where she handled all aspects of the center’s branding, strategic planning and marketing initiatives. She has also held the position of Corporate Marketing Manager for Turnberry Associates’ Retail Division, working on various marketing projects for the company’s retail portfolio. Turnberry owns and manages both Aventura Mall and Destin Commons. “Crystal has been a highly-regarded member of the Turnberry Associates family for five years,” said Oscar Pacheco, Aventura Mall’s general manager. “Her strategic marketing experience and keen creative skills, as well as her experience in implementing highly successful programs, will be of great value to Aventura Mall.” Rouhani received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Marketing from University of Central Florida.
